Terms of Use

Welcome to HireMike.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the HireMike platform and related services provided by Inprod Solutions Pty Ltd ABN 71 609 446 531 ("HireMike", "we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using HireMike, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the platform.
1. About HireMike
HireMike is an AI-assisted recruitment screening platform designed to help employers manage early-stage recruitment workflows, including:
- Job creation and candidate intake
- AI-assisted CV screening
- AI-conducted screening interviews
- Interview scheduling
- Candidate scoring and summaries
- Recruitment workflow management
HireMike is a decision-support platform only.
HireMike does not:
- Act as a recruitment agency
- Provide legal advice
- Provide HR consulting services
- Make hiring decisions on behalf of employers
All hiring decisions remain solely the responsibility of the employer.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a HireMike account.
By using HireMike, you represent and warrant that:
- You are legally capable of entering binding agreements
- All information you provide is accurate and current
- You are authorised to act on behalf of your organisation where applicable
HireMike is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age.
3. Employer Accounts
Employers are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials
- All activities conducted under their account
- Ensuring authorised access only
- Promptly notifying HireMike of any suspected unauthorised access
HireMike may suspend or terminate accounts where security risks, misuse, or policy violations are suspected.
4. Candidate Participation
Candidates participating in interviews through HireMike agree:
- To provide truthful and accurate information
- Not to impersonate another individual
- Not to misuse or disrupt the platform
- Not to record, rebroadcast, or redistribute interviews without permission
- Not to use external AI assistance, automation tools, or deceptive aids during interviews where prohibited by the employer
Candidates acknowledge that interviews may be recorded, transcribed, and analysed using AI systems.
5. AI-Assisted Screening & Limitations
HireMike uses artificial intelligence systems to assist employers during recruitment processes.
This may include:
- Automated CV parsing
- Candidate scoring
- AI-generated summaries
- Conversational AI interviews
- Transcript analysis
- Automated recommendations
Important:
- AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or errors
- AI assessments are informational only
- HireMike does not guarantee candidate suitability, performance, honesty, or qualifications
- Employers must independently evaluate all candidates before making hiring decisions
Employers must not rely solely on AI-generated outputs when making employment decisions.
6. Acceptable Use
Users must not:
- Use HireMike for unlawful purposes
- Engage in discriminatory hiring practices
- Configure unlawful screening criteria
- Upload malicious software or harmful content
- Attempt to reverse engineer the platform or AI systems
- Scrape or bulk export candidate data without authorisation
- Resell or sublicense platform access
- Interfere with platform security or operations
- Use the platform in violation of employment, anti-discrimination, or privacy laws
- Use AI-generated outputs as the sole basis for employment decisions
HireMike reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
7. Privacy
Use of HireMike is also governed by the HireMike Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, stored, and disclosed.
8. Fees, Credits & Payments
Prepaid Credits
HireMike operates using a prepaid credit model.
Credits may be used for services including:
- AI CV screening
- AI interviews
- Platform-related processing services
Pricing may change at any time with notice published through the platform or website.
GST
Where applicable, prices for Australian customers may include or exclude GST as required by Australian law.
Refunds
Refunds are provided at HireMike's discretion only.
HireMike may consider refunds in situations including:
- Duplicate charges
- Unused account balances
- Significant service outages
Candidates invited to interviews but who do not attend are generally not charged.
Except where required by law, all purchases are otherwise final.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
Payment Processing
Payments are processed using:
HireMike does not store full payment card details.
9. Service Availability
HireMike is provided on an "as available" basis.
We may:
- Modify platform features
- Introduce new functionality
- Remove features
- Perform maintenance
- Experience outages or interruptions
Planned or emergency maintenance windows may occur without prior notice.
HireMike does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Support is provided:
- Via email only
- During standard business hours only
10. Third-Party Services
HireMike relies on third-party providers, including:
HireMike is not responsible for outages, interruptions, or failures caused by third-party providers.
11. Intellectual Property
HireMike retains ownership of:
- The platform
- Software
- AI systems
- Scoring methodologies
- Branding
- Website content
- Workflows and platform functionality
Employers retain ownership of:
- Uploaded job advertisements
- Internal notes
- Employer-created recruitment content
Users grant HireMike a limited licence to use uploaded content solely for operating and improving the platform.
You must not copy, reproduce, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit HireMike without written permission.
12. Data Retention & Account Termination
Employer account data may be retained for up to 30 days following account termination before deletion.
Backups and logs may also persist temporarily for operational and security purposes.
HireMike may suspend or terminate accounts immediately where:
- Non-payment occurs
- Security risks are detected
- Unlawful activity is suspected
- These Terms are violated
- Platform integrity is threatened
13. Export Controls & Compliance
Users must not use HireMike:
- In violation of applicable sanctions laws
- For unlawful surveillance or cyber activity
- In restricted jurisdictions where prohibited by law
- In connection with illegal or fraudulent activity
Users are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
14. Publicity Rights
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, HireMike may identify customers by business name and logo in:
- Customer lists
- Marketing materials
- Website content
- Case studies
Customers may request removal by contacting HireMike.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We make no guarantees regarding:
- Hiring outcomes
- Candidate quality
- Candidate honesty
- AI accuracy
- Platform availability
- Business results
We disclaim all implied warranties except those that cannot legally be excluded.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HireMike and Inprod Solutions Pty Ltd are not liable for:
- Indirect damages
- Consequential damages
- Lost profits
- Lost business opportunities
- Reputational damage
- Employment disputes
- Hiring outcomes
- Candidate conduct
- Reliance on AI-generated outputs
Our total aggregate liability arising from or related to the platform is limited to the fees paid by the customer to HireMike during the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under Australian law.
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HireMike, Inprod Solutions Pty Ltd, and their officers, employees, and contractors from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:
- Your misuse of the platform
- Unlawful hiring practices
- Discrimination claims
- Breaches of employment law
- Uploaded content
- Reliance on AI-generated outputs
- Violations of these Terms
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
19. Changes to These Terms
HireMike may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be published on the HireMike website with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the platform after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
