Build your job listing inside HireMike. Add the role details and key requirements. HireMike's AI then suggests scoring criteria and interview questions. You review and approve everything before it goes live — edit, reweight, or replace anything.
Advertise on Your Preferred Platforms
Take your job listing to wherever your candidates are. Post on Seek, LinkedIn, or any other job board and include your unique HireMike application link in the listing. Anyone who wants to apply clicks that link — no integrations, no extra setup required.
Design Your Application Form
Inside HireMike, build the form your applicants will complete when they click your link. Add the questions that matter to you, set your mandatory knockout requirements, and configure the resume upload. This form is how every applicant enters your hiring process.

You see the job listing on Seek, LinkedIn, or wherever it's been advertised. You click the unique HireMike application link and are taken directly to a clean, mobile-friendly application page — no account creation required.
Answer Knockout Questions
Before completing the full application, you're presented with a small number of yes/no questions based on the mandatory requirements. These filter out applicants who don't meet the minimum criteria immediately, saving everyone's time.
Complete the Application Form
Applicants who pass the knockout questions complete the custom application form — answering questions and uploading their resume. The process is straightforward and mobile-friendly. Once submitted, they receive an automated confirmation email.
Review AI Scoring and Approve Candidates
HireMike's AI reviews every application. Each applicant is scored against your criteria, ranked, and summarised in plain English. You review the results and choose who proceeds to first-round screening. Everyone else receives a polite automated rejection.
AI Reviews Their Application
Behind the scenes, HireMike's AI immediately parses the resume and scores the application against the approved criteria. The applicant doesn't see this process — they simply wait to hear whether they've been invited to the next stage.
Receive Interview Invitation
If approved, the applicant receives an automated interview invitation email with a link to book a time from the available schedule. They choose a time that suits them, receive a calendar invitation with their secure video call link, and get automated reminders at 24 hours and 1 hour before.
Attend the AI Screening Interview
At the scheduled time, the applicant joins the video call directly from their browser — no app download required. They complete a consent declaration confirming they understand the interview is AI-led and will be recorded, and then the interview begins. The AI conducts a structured, conversational first-round screening interview.
Review First-Round Interview Results
After each AI-led screening interview, you receive a full candidate assessment package — overall score, criteria breakdown, key highlights, and the full recorded interview with a timestamped transcript. Watch the recording at your own pace, at 1.5x speed if you like. Reviewing a 45-minute interview typically takes 10–15 minutes.
Await the Outcome
Once the interview is complete, the applicant is informed of the next steps and that a decision will be made by the hiring team. From this point, they wait to hear whether they've been selected to progress to a final interview.
You Take Over
Once you've reviewed the AI screening results, you decide who you'd like to meet in person. From this point forward, the interviews are entirely human to human. HireMike steps back from the interviewing process and moves into tracking mode — managing candidate status, scheduling your final interviews, and keeping everything organised through to your hire.
