HireMike is an AI-assisted recruitment screening platform designed to help employers manage early-stage recruitment processes.

3. AI Processing & Automated Analysis
HireMike uses artificial intelligence systems to assist employers during recruitment processes.

- AI-generated interview summaries
- AI-assisted interview conversations
- Interview transcription and analysis
- Identification of potential inconsistencies or notable responses
Important:
- HireMike is a decision-support tool only
- Final hiring decisions are always made by human employers
- AI-generated assessments may contain inaccuracies or limitations
- Employers are responsible for reviewing all candidate information before making employment decisions
HireMike does not use facial recognition, biometric profiling, or demographic analysis as part of candidate scoring.
4. Consent to Recording
Candidates are informed before any AI screening interview begins that:
- The interview is conducted using AI systems
- The interview will be recorded
- Audio, video, and transcript data will be processed and stored
- AI systems will analyse responses for recruitment assessment purposes
Candidates must provide explicit consent before proceeding with an interview.

- Conduct AI-assisted interviews

While HireMike primarily operates for Australian users, some data may be processed in the United States through our technology and AI service providers. By using HireMike, users acknowledge that personal information may be transferred outside Australia. HireMike implements technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information.

HireMike is designed with security principles aligned with SOC 2 security practices; however, SOC 2 certification may not currently be maintained unless explicitly stated elsewhere by HireMike.

10. Data Retention
Candidate Data
Candidate records are generally retained for 12 months after a recruitment process is completed unless extended by the employer.
Employer Accounts
Employer account data is generally retained for 30 days following account cancellation before deletion.
Backups & Logs
System backups and logs are generally retained for up to 30 days. We may retain certain information longer where required for legal, regulatory, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or security purposes.
11. Access, Correction & Deletion Requests
Users may request:
- Access to their personal information
- Correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion of personal information
